At Nordic Steel, we have welding expertise at the very top level and we deliver certified welding according to national and international requirements. It is important to us that quality work is carried out by certified personnel. Therefore, the welders who work with us have certificates to weld with all methods for all kinds of purposes.
We have our own welding engineers (IWE and IWT) who are trained according to IIW (International Institute of Welding).
The welding procedures are very extensive. With us, production follow-up and weld seams are tested and documented. Our own welding coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the routines are followed to the smallest detail. Welding with us is carried out at a very high level.
Nordic Steel has 13,000 m2 of production space with two 10-ton and three 8-ton overhead cranes. Single products, series, small and large constructions are all equally common in our production.
These are some of the: NS-EN ISO 9001:2015, NS-EN ISO 3834-2, EN 1090- EXC 1-4, Achilles, Sellihca, Start bank, TransQ, Eco-lighthouse, EPIM JQS, Centrally approved enterprise for liability pursuant to the Planning and Building Act, Installation of load-bearing metal or concrete structures in execution class 3, Roofing class 3 according to plan and building law.
We have regular deliveries in accordance with DNV 2.7-1 and applicable NORSOK standards. We have good knowledge of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's handbook R762 process code 2 and we can deliver EPDs on all deliveries that require this.
Nordic Steel has procedures approved by accredited third parties that cover several of the most common material grades, in thicknesses up to 80 mm. We can offer project-specific special procedures on request.
