Nordic Steel enters into cooperation with Øgreid.

Important collaboration to foster growth.

Over time, the owners of Nordic Steel have worked to find a solid partner who can help to further develop the company, and have now invited Øgreid as a strategic partner.

Verket Investering, an investment company wholly owned by Øgreid, takes control of 50% of nordic steel's ownership. Further, there will be no changes to the company's organisation or strategy.

We believe that we have made progress in the right direction recently, and that we have created a good basis for further growth. This is confirmed by the fact that we now have Øgreid with us on the team. The company is facing an exciting market with many opportunities – we look forward to working together with Øgreid and taking advantage of their experience and expertise in the future," says Ceo and Co-Owner of Nordic Steel, Børre Lobekk.

Over time, we have had some good conversations with the drivers at Nordic Steel, and believe that we are united on the strategy and where we are going. We have been impressed by Nordic Steel's unique culture and their systematic approach to HSE, operations and commercial work. In addition, the chemistry is good. We believe that the company has a good basis for further growth and development in an interesting market," says Eirik Ronold Mathisen in Øgreid.
