Design Engineer

We are now looking for a dedicated and experienced Design Engineer. We have a large technical department that assists our customers in all industries. In this position, you will work closely with colleagues in your own department, with project managers and employees in the production departments. You must be able to draw and build models from scratch, and take an idea into something that will become a finished mechanical product.

Collaboration skills and building good relationships are important qualities. We are looking for someone who is independent and quality-conscious in their work.

Tasks:

· 3D design and engineering in projects 

· Prepare production documents, parts lists and documentation

· Work closely with other departments

Qualifications:

· Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar position

· Good knowledge of standards (DNV, NS-EN, NORSOK) an advantage

· Knowledge of welding and preparation of welding drawings

· Experience with SolidWorks

· Solution-oriented team player

· Good collaboration skills

· Be fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
