We are now looking for laser operators for our sheet metal department. At Nordic Steel, we have two new, beautiful fiber lasers that cut all plates with accuracy and precision. Are you accurate, independent and quality-conscious in your work? Then you may be the right person for our department.
A laser operator operates our machines, has good technical insight and understanding of drawings. You must be solution-oriented and enjoy a hectic and varied working day. Collaboration with other functions in the sheet metal department is an important part of the work.
Tasks:
- Running the laser machines
- Loading plates into the machines
- Picking pre-cut parts
- Packing and labeling parts
- Truck and crane driving
- Cleaning and maintenance
Skills and characteristics:
- Professional certificate in sheet metal work or production engineering
- Good experience in sheet metal work or production engineering can compensate for lack of formal education
- Understanding of specifications and drawings
- Independent and accurate
- Service-minded with a positive attitude
- Efficient and with high work capacity
- Tidy and structured
