Nordic Steel Group seeks assemblers

Would you like to join our assembly department? Nordic Steel is looking for more practical, skilled and precise installers for our department at Bryne. Most of the assembly takes place in our premises, but if it is tempting you can have the opportunity to install outdoors with customers and offshore.

We are looking for you who like a challenge and enjoy mechanical installation. We work according to the strictest quality requirements in the industry, therefore it is important that you as a fitter are accurate and have a good understanding of technical drawings. You must be able to work with assembly and perform various manual work. You must be solution-oriented, independent and equally a hectic and varied working day. As a fitter, you will handle large and small assembly work as well as thrive on efficient and safe implementation.

Tasks:

• Mounting large and small series
• Assembly of prototypes
• Threading/drilling/immersion
• Testing and preparation
• Rebuilding and maintenance

Qualifications:

• Experience as a fitter, mechanic, production associate or other relevant background
• Preferably a certificate within relevant subjects
• Master both Norwegian and English

Personal characteristics:

• Handy with experience from mechanical industry or construction processes
• Independent
• Service set with a positive attitude
• High work capacity
• Structured
• Solution-oriented
