The strength of our corrugated steel pipes, Simprofile, is immense. They have a high compression strength and can better withstand pressure and external forces. The pipes have a low weight, are flexible and can be easily cut and bent.
Simprofile is often used as a casting tube in tension reinforced structures, because they provide very good adhesion between concrete and reinforcement.
The steel pipes are also used as a joint for mounting prefabricated concrete elements to be glued/milled to foundations or other elements. They are also used as recesses for guiding anchor rods and tensioned cables in concrete structures.
The pipes are also used as drawers for cables, wires and water pipes.
Simprofile is supplied in material thicknesses from 0.3 mm to 0.8 mm and is produced in dimensions from Ø50 mm – Ø1250 mm.
The light weight of the pipes keeps transport and storage costs down. This also makes them highly manageable and easy to install. The service life is considerably longer as opposed to plastic pipes.
