Smart purification solutions actually allow water to be recycled indefinitely. Nordic Water Products is a company that supplies complete purification plants for wastewater, drinking water and process water. Nordic Steel has manufactured important equipment for their purification plant.
– Nordic Steel has supplied screen boxes and inner cassettes for our mechanical cleaning filter. The cleaning filter is an important tool for filtering waste materials in the fishing industry, and in treatment plants in the municipal sector, says Malin Mjaatvedt, project engineer at Nordic Water Products.
With increasingly stringent emission requirements, the purification solutions help ensure that both industry and municipalities contribute to clean fjords and a sustainable marine environment. The production of the screen boxes and inner cassettes has been an exciting project, which has involved several of the departments at Nordic Steel.
– The coolest thing about the project is that the product purifies water, which is really important. In addition, these products are very tough, because we get to use our entire range. Everything from skilled colleagues in the technical department, to deburring, laser cutting, bending, welding, and finally we assemble the structures together, says Atle Lie-Handeland, senior sales engineer at Nordic Steel.
The collaboration between Nordic Steel and Nordic Water Products is positive and constructive.
– We experience Nordic Steel as accommodating and solution-oriented, and we have a good collaboration. Now we will also further develop the collaboration between us, and we greatly appreciate that, says Malin Mjaatvedt at Nordic Water Products.
Atle Lie-Handeland also talks about a very good relationship with Nordic Water Products. A relationship that will be strengthened even more in the future.
– They are very nice to work with! They are also interested in working with us, and are open to input. At the same time, it is very exciting to see their growth, and that the scope of the projects is increasing. We have recently taken on a task where we will help them with technical drawings. There we will help create the basis for their products, so we are looking forward to that, says Atle Lie-Handeland at Nordic Steel.

– So it can't be entirely wrong in this collaboration that both are called "Nordic".
