Fast chargers for electric cars

In Norway, there is a tremendous increase in electric taxis - so they must also have fast and good charging options. Nordic Steel has produced charging cabinets for Kverneland Energi.

The charging cabinets are located at Rogaland Taxi. They have invested in a new energy system that will provide super-fast charging for taxi drivers.

- We designed the charging cabinets in collaboration with Kverneland Energi. We then manufactured them in-house. They are made of carbon steel, which is then powder-coated," explains Thorbjørn Jensen of Nordic Steel.

Each charging cabinet can charge two cars at the same time and the cars are charged very quickly. The energy system from Kverneland Energi contributes to a greener taxi industry.
