As dimensions grow, the requirements for area, lifting capacity, surface and documentation increase. We offer large-scale fabrication with dock, multiple deepwater quays, high lifting capacity and full QA/QC – from prefabrication to load-out.
Through an expanded production network, we combine Nordic Steel quality with even larger facilities: dock 280×43 m, multiple quays (10–12 m depth), cranes up to 130 t and multi-wheelers for heavy modules.
Capacity for the largest jobs
Dry dock : 280 m × 43 m, min. 8 m depth of approach. Three cranes (2×100 t, 1×130 t)
Deepwater quays : Main quay 220 m (min. 10 m depth) + side quay 90 m (min. 12 m). Crane 100–130 t, tandem lift ~200 t
Load-out for large modules : Direct from assembly hall to barge. Multi-wheelers (4 trailers / total 600 t). Up to 7,000 tons of module handling via main quay
Welding : SAW (sub-arc) up to 4× faster than manual FCAW/GMAW; TIP-TIG 3–4× faster than manual TIG; orbital processes on pipes and circular/tower welds
Automation/Robot : Joint scanning, horizontal/vertical welding, fillet and partial penetration – increased safety and consistent quality
QA/QC and NDT in-house : Level II/III for RT (digital), UT/PAUT, PT, MPI, PMI and VT – with KPI reporting in ERP (IFS) for full traceability
Surface : Upgraded facilities (2023) – ~1,500 m² for spraying/surfacing, automatic small parts blasting line, 6 paint booths (~1,200 m²) + on-site capacity (~600 m²). Offshore/subsea requirements.
Material range : High strength carbon steel, TP316L, 6Mo, 22%/25% Cr (Duplex/Super Duplex), titanium, Inconel 625 and CRA-clad
