A new load-bearing steel structure has been installed on the second floor. Beams and columns support the hollow core slab, which will be lifted to open up between two floors. Between the second and third floors, the deck was opened up to make the entrance area larger and more visible.
The renovation will link the new entrance to the existing entrance from Stasjonsallmenningen, and the reception entrance will be visible from both the north and south.
