Johan Sverdrup

Johan Sverdrup has cabinets with fittings from Nordic Steel.

Johan Sverdrup is located on the Utsira Height in the North Sea, 65 kilometres northeast of the Sleipner field. The water depth in the area is 110-120 metres. Johan Sverdrup was approved in 2010. The plan for development and operation for phase 1 was approved in 2015. The development solution for the first stage of construction is a field centre with four specialised facilities; living quarters, processing plants, drilling facilities and risers. The four platforms are connected by bridges . The drilling facility has 48 well slots and is designed for simultaneous drilling, well intervention and production. The processing capacity in phase 1 will be 70,000 Sm3 of oil and 6 million Sm3 of gas per day. The field will be operated with power from shore throughout the lifetime of the field.

Resolution of the mission

With Senab Eikeland, we have collectively designed and developed prototypes of cabinets and furnishings for cabinets used on the Johan Sverdrup platforms in the North Sea. The enclosure solution is unique because it will meet several needs, such as built in heating and ventilation. The solution consists of home travel cabinets, wardrobes, equipment cabinets and a large assortment of décor cabinets. We have delivered almost 1200 powder coated cabinets with integrated heat for Johan Sverdrup.
