Right now, it is particularly advantageous to choose Norwegian production. The Norwegian krone is at a record low. This means that the price of services in Norway is lower than in many other countries. Companies that choose production in Norway can make good choices.
Norwegian production is beneficial for many reasons:
The Norwegian krone is up to 20% cheaper than 12 months ago against the US dollar, euro and Danish krone
You choose safe production according to Norwegian laws and regulations
You choose quality with full documentation on everything from materials, to production and transportation
You can easily follow up on your projects and you get to know the company. Language and good dialog are important
You support local, Norwegian jobs
Local production means shorter transport distances, which is better for the environment
As an example, we can look at the US dollar, euro and Danish krone against the Norwegian krone. We have taken the figures from Norges Bank and looked at March 31, 2022 versus March 30, 2023.
The US dollar has risen 19.3 percent against the Norwegian krone over the past year. This situation between the dollar and the Norwegian krone has not been weaker since 1970
The euro has risen by 16.9 percent. This is the weakest level since the introduction of the euro in 1999, with the exception of a short period during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Danish krone has appreciated by 16.8 percent. Denmark has a fixed exchange rate policy for the euro, which keeps the Danish krone stable against the euro
This means that prices in Norway are up to 20% cheaper, compared to the same situation 12 months ago.
