Those who have seen the artwork at Bryne take shape in recent weeks have seen Bryne's own Erling Braut Haaland appear more and more on the old dairy wall in Jernbanegata. On the wall, however, there has been room for only one hand.
On the roof is now hand number two. It is made of aluminum, is three meters high and four meters wide, and is attached to a large steel frame. The hand and stand are produced by Nordic Steel in collaboration with Pøbel.
- Fantastic! Nordic Steel has done a fantastic job. They got up quickly and got this produced for us. We are very happy, says the artist himself.
Nordic Steel is good at helping to solve all types of challenges. It was therefore easy to say yes to the task together with skilled Pøbel.
- We like to be part of new, exciting projects. This was right up our alley for us. We at Nordic Steel are very happy to be part of Bryne's superstar getting a great tribute in their hometown, says Thorbjørn Jensen, steel artist and project manager at Nordic Steel.
On the night of Monday 16 May, employees from Nordic Steel and the sister company, the steel contractor Nordic Steel Construction, were on the roof to assemble the hand.
Other local actors have also contributed to getting the hand in place. Jæren Overflatebehandling and Kenneth Egeland transport have been good partners.
